Suede
How to clean and care for suede?
Suede is leather with a velvety feel, prized for softness and matte finish. Sourced from the inner side of the hide, it stands out for suppleness and slightly powdery texture, offering an elegant yet relaxed look.
As with all our leather, suede used at SANDRO is predominantly sourced from tanneries audited by the Leather Working Group (LWG), which assesses environmental practices.
Cleaning :
Gently brush suede with specialist brush to remove dust and restore velvety finish.
For stains, use specialist suede eraser or take piece to leather specialist.
Protection :
We recommend applying suitable waterproofing spray before first use and repeating process regularly.
Moisture :
If suede gets wet, leave to air dry away from direct heat, then gently brush material.
